As the year drew to a close, sports gaming apps on the iOS platform demonstrated varied performances in Australia during the fourth quarter of 2023. This analysis, provided by Sensor Tower, gives us a glimpse into the trends of downloads, revenues, and weekly active users for the top sports games.

EA SPORTS FC™ Mobile Soccer from Electronic Arts maintained a steady stream of revenue, peaking at around $63K in late November. Downloads saw a gradual decline from over 13K to approximately 4.8K, while active users fluctuated slightly, ending the quarter with around 55K weekly users.

Miniclip.com's 8 Ball Pool™ also had a consistent revenue stream, with an upward trend peaking at nearly $29K during the Christmas week. Downloads spiked to around 7.7K at the end of December, and weekly active users remained robust, ending at around 261K.

Real Free Soccer's Soccer Super Star showed modest revenue figures, with a notable increase to $515 in late November. Downloads experienced a rise towards the end of the quarter, reaching nearly 3.6K, and active users concluded the period with a slight increase to over 33K.

Another Miniclip.com title, Golf Battle, saw revenues that peaked at around $4.2K in late November. The game's downloads hovered around 2K to 3.5K, and weekly active users maintained a level just above 11K by the quarter's end.

Lastly, 2K's NBA 2K Mobile Basketball Game experienced a revenue trend that culminated at about $11.6K during the festive season. Downloads reached over 2.3K, and the game closed the quarter with approximately 5.8K active weekly users.
